Shoshone Falls
Height of the falls is 212 feet. Being
taller than Niagara, it is billed as the "Niagara of the West." The source
of water is the Snake River.
October through April
are the best times to view the falls, because water is held back
upstream for irrigation during the summer. Take Blue Lakes Blvd in
Twin Falls to Falls Avenue, then go three miles east and two miles
north.
